De huidige stand van zaken in de competitie is momenteel natuurlijk onderwerp van gesprek. Maar de trip naar Polen is ook zeker nog niet vergeten, niet bij ons, bij onze supporters en ook niet bij de mensen van Legia is gebleken. Zij stuurden ons een mooie brief. Dear Friends,
excitement wore off after a month but we still remember this day of the match. First of all we would like to express our deepest gratitude to FC Den Haag`s Management Board for taking the decision to coming to Warsaw and play the game for Wojtek. We also want to warmly thank the whole FC Den Haag team for co-creating a great atmosphere on the pitch together with our players.
Last but not least. We would like to greet our brothers from Northside for making fantastic show on the stand. The crew who came to Warsaw did a bloody good job! Finally thanks for those FC Den Haag fans who helped us in the preparation of this event. We are very grateful for your invaluable efforts and involvement.
Our goal was achieved, we helped to Wojtek - one of us, who needed this help like nobody else. There is also another side of the coin. About 20 thousands fans in the stadium - all standing and singing even after the final whistle, ultras show with flares and choreography - that`s the essence of football. We did it together! The result of the game wasn`t important and nobody didn`t care about it. The most important was to help Wojtek and big fun for all participants on the pitch and stands. We are really happy of the time we spent with you before, during and after the game and we hope you had a nice time in our city as well.
To sum up - the idea really hit the bull`s-eye - we call it in Poland "shot at 10" - and we did it! The date 10.10.10 forever in our hearts and memory! Legia and FC Den Haag forever and ever!
