News

Over the past six months, ADO Den Haag has been taking significant strides to embrace and integrate the International Community in the region. In this article we will share the progress we have made so far, as well as our future plans.

English Website Upgrade

The first change ADO Den Haag has made was to give the old outdated English website a brand new look, while implementing the elements of the main Dutch website. The upgrade is more than just a touch-up, it is an enhancement designed to serve our international fans better. The new site is packed with content and information, providing everything from club news and squad profiles to ticketing/ stadium information. Our aim is to ensure that our English-speaking supporters feel as connected and well informed as our local fans.

Building strong collaborations

In our mission to create a more inclusive environment, we quickly realized it is only possible to achieve this, if we collaborate with international organizations, not only to help us reach the international community better, but additionally to help us bridge the cultural differences. This is why we have created numerous collaborations with multiple international organizations, ranging from universities, high schools to associations. ADO Den Haag wants to thank every single person who was part of this process and helped us to achieve the first steps.

International Matchday against FC Eindhoven

On the 20th of april over 200 international families and students from a wide range of countries filled the family stands, adding a layer of diversity to the sea of yellow and green. All the diverse groups mixed well together in the packed stands and created a unique atmosphere. This event was a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and our belief that football can bring the community together, regardless of their origin.

A big thanks to: The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Leiden University, HSV International Primary School, European School The Hague, American School of The Hague & Studar, who have helped out create this memorable event. Without them this wouldn't have been possible.
